The green and yellow boards make for an extensive "generic" pump controller. 1st time, wiring for a specific application, it was a rats nest of wires. So I made the orange one-sided circuit board with my PCB mill. Plan was to make orange hookup boards at home for each application.

The green and yellow boards make for an extensive "generic" pump controller. 1st time, wiring for a specific application, it was a rats nest of wires. So I made the orange one-sided circuit board with my PCB mill. Plan was to make orange hookup boards at home for each application.
Here is the circuitry. The little green board is a Teensy 3.2 controller. I designed the yellow board to include as many "generic" features as possible for pumps. The PCB was professional made, it's mostly surface mount. I assembled it, hand soldered, under a microscope.

I turned this into an extensive project. Could be claimed that I was hobbying at work. It is a microcontroller for regulating a pump. It can read signals from a variety of sensors, report the pump's operating conditions and of course, control the speed of the pump. 1/4
