RE my last repost: "Oh, so you love criminals" is absolutely a misdirect and a trap. And also, if someone says that to me, my answer is yes, in part because there is no difference between the person I am today and the criminal I may become tomorrow.

so in the 5 months since, i started a new (hiking-related) job, made friends for life in my new housemates, grew out my hair, came out to friends and family, publicly dropped my deadname, and finally, most importantly, hrt has given me a visible chest and a fat ass.
things do get better.

just drained today. weeks and weeks, and months and months of *almost* getting a job. it’s exhausting, and embarrassing.
i don’t have answers for my family. i don’t have a way forward. rejection after rejection chips away at you- how am i supposed to love myself when no one wants to hire me?!?
