The greediest man alive pretends he is not a leech on US taxpayers.

Yes, why?
Yesterday the President fell asleep, yet again, during a televised fake Cabinet meeting staged so that each of his courtiers could heap praise on him, praise for which he couldn't stay conscious. He woke up just long enough to spew racism. Why is this not being treated as an emergency? >

Meeting the moment head on.
I'm aware that the President likes to go on television and beg me to call him to ask for troops.

I find it strange, as Chicago doesn't want troops.

I also have experience asking him for assistance – just to have the rug pulled up from underneath me when execution meets reality.

After the largest dam removal in US history, Indigenous youth paddled 300 miles down the restored Klamath River. The journey reconnected Native communities to ancestral waters and honored decades of tribal activism. Salmon have already begun returning.

Hear, Hear!!
Shout out to Heather Cox Richardson! Thank you for your consistent and incredible work!

Thank you for this summation
Just to accurately lay out the course of events, people were yelling at him because his auto-responding robot that was trained on Twitter’s userbase still displayed — against all odds — a modicum of empathy. He then made the robot speak like him and within hours it was calling itself Mechahitler.

He’s done it again — pulled the narrative off of the catastrophic government failures in the Texas flash floods and the preventable deaths and has everyone talking about MacArthur Park in LA and the Epstein case.

It’s so blatant and weird.

Beautiful 🇺🇸
America is beautiful, contradictory, unfinished. I am proud of our country even as we constantly strive to make it better, to protect and deepen our democracy, to fulfill its promise for each and every person who calls it home.

Happy Independence Day. No Kings in America.

Look at those polls, baby! You bet Hochul is reading the tea leaves.
Hochul is better at reading polls and election results than Gillibrand is.

Finally. Now do it publicly, Senator Gillibrand, or resign.
Gillibrand apologizes to Mamdani over ‘jihad’ comments - POLITICO

So I am glad Gillibrand apologized but she should really do so publicly, not privately, given her smear against him was done publicly, on live radio in fact.

*Brad Lander* on Mamdani:

Lander: "It's just gross, racist bigotry. Meanwhile he's running an optimistic, upbeat campaign for a NY where everybody belongs, and I feel proud as the highest-ranking Jewish elected official in NYC to be supporting somebody who would be the first Muslim mayor—what could be more NYC than that?"

I love Brad Lander and hope he refuses to listen to the “consultants” who forced Tim Walz to tone this kind of talk down
but what do you really think brad lander hellgatenyc.com/brad-lander-...

Brad and Zohran and Tish at NYC Pride!

I think Brad is having the most fun. 😆

Exactly!
How about we have party leaders focus on the words of a United States congressman - Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama - who’s calling Black people “inner city rats” who leach off of America’s taxpayers.
Stop the focus on municipal elections and get to this.
Where is the censure and condemnation?
Hakeem Jeffries on Mamdani: "'Globalizing the intifada' by way of example is not an acceptable phrasing. He's gonna have to clarify his position on that as he moves forward."

Shout it!
Mamdani: "I've already had to start get used to the fact that the president will talk about how I look, how I sound, where I'm from, ultimately bc he wants to distract from what I'm fighting for. I'm fighting for the the very working people he ran a campaign to empower that he has since betrayed."

Brad Lander has phenomenal energy!
I love how he and Zohran Mamdani are such great support for and friends with each other!
Brad Lander’s Tim Robinson energy at Pride is the sort of vibe I wish could be bottled

Pay attention!!! The Big Ugly Bill is where the focus needs to be.

WT actual F???
Every single word spent dishonestly attacking Zohran is a word not spent attacking Trump’s Big Ugly Bill, which Republicans are trying to pass as we speak.

Jeffries is failing to meet the moment.

I am simultaneously embarrassed and horrified by Gillibrand’s smearing of Mamdani.
While consultants are raking it in to tell Democratic leadership how to win back young men, here's a charismatic young man who won an election with huge youth support and Gillibrand, Jeffries, and various others are savaging him? newrepublic.com/article/1961...

Progressives are wringing their hands over the shift that took these voters to the right. But some worry about focusing more on the symptom than the cause.

Jeffries is WRONG. 100% categorically WRONG

This smear campaign is fucking wild
One would think that Democrats would have some better targets in the midst of a coup/civil war/destruction of the Constitution and the rule of law/massive loss of rights than a Democratic candidate who just won an election.
This is not a coincidence. This is a concerted effort. This is a Dem establishment agreed-upon talking point. This is a very deliberate plan. “Use the Jews.”
