I am terribly reminded of Satyajit Ray’s movie Goopy Gyne Bangha Byrne because everybody on social media is acting as if war is some kind of a sport. A small clip from the movie (sorry but it’s in Bengali).

It's not just a rejection of Trump - though it is. It's a rejection of Peter Dutton.

Both things are incredibly well deserved.

In less than hour, Australia will vote again, in what can be one of the angriest eras in the nation’s history. I only hope, people see less angry times ahead and more support from the administrators.

Neat use of the daily average time spent on X app made popular by Apple's 'Screen Time' feature in service of showcasing how immersive the product (in this case, a hotel property) is. Surprisingly, this is an in-house effort, not by an external agency!

Today is National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day! 🐾

Whether it’s a dog, a cat, a bird, a bunny, if you can adopt, I promise it’ll be one of the most beautiful things you’ve ever done.

In honor of shelter pet adoptions, here’s Lucky on his very first day with us after he came to his furever home.

What would be the word for - to turn your face to the sun and feel the wrath of Mother Nature?
Word of the Day is ‘apricate’ (17th century): to turn your face to the sun and bask in its warmth.

This is absolutely heartbreaking
So, I didn't make the connection at first, but US Figure skating nationals were held in Wichita this weekend. I watched them with my wife, who loves figure skating.

Multiple up-and-coming skaters and their coaches were on that flight. This is a huge blow to the US figure skating community.

This is so sad. A few days after the F-35 crash. Thoughts with everyone.
What we know so far:

• The plane was carrying at least 60 passengers and 4 crew members and departed from Wichita, Kansas.

• Reagan National Airport is closed until 5 a.m. Thursday.

• The Army helicopter involved in the crash was a UH-60 Black Hawk on a training flight, military officials said.

The problem with Blue Sky is it is very US-centric. Which is fine if you want to focus only on US, UK and allies. But to develop or grow in other countries where social media really make difference (sans the fake news), Blue Sky has a lot of miles to cover. But I guess that’s not their aim.
