So called research ship, Admiral Vladimirskiy Projekt 832, loitering around where recent cable incident area near island Gotland in the Baltic sea.

Update: Russian research vessel completes brief loiter in the central in the Baltic Sea and heads south
After a brief loiter in the central Baltic Sea on 1 February 2025, Admiral Vladimirskiy transited south during the afternoon and was operating west of Klaipeda during the forenoon, 2 February 2025.

The Sparta II, a Russian cargo ship under U.S. sanctions, has been drifting near Tartus since Jan. 5 after leaving Baltiysk in Kaliningrad Oblast on Dec. 11, according to the Moscow Times.

This morning a Russian corvette and a submarine stalked Finnish tanker JATULI.
JATULI was moving south in international waters, Kattegatt, when she met SKR-531. The corvette turned around, started following and soon thereafter a KILO submarine started driving alongside.

1/2 Ro-Ro cargo Sparta som startade från Baltiysk 11 december och var i sällskap med fartyget Ursa Major tills det sjönk i höjd med Cartagena 🇪🇸 på julafton har nu kommit fram till Tartus Syrien. Det ligger nu och kör i 6 knop fram och tillbaks på ett avstånd om ca 5 sjömil från hamnen.
