One of my many unpopular opinions is that impostor syndrome (or at least strong self-doubt) is an important component of making substantive progress, as people who are eternally self-confident usually come up with wild BS that is easily discredited. The trick is to find the right balance.
Living through the symptoms of Imposter Syndrome is always an amazing time.
