Phang: Wiles says she doesn’t think Trump is on a retribution tour, but that he’s going after people who did bad things in coming after him… That sounds like retribution to me. I’m not quite sure what her definition of retribution is, but she might want to look it up in the fucking dictionary.

Unbelievable. This would be a terrible blow to American science, writ large. It would decimate not only climate research, but also the kind of weather, wildfire, and disaster research that has underpinned half a century of progress in prediction, early warning, and increased resilience.
Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

NY AG Letitia James has sued UPS for stealing millions in wages from its seasonal holiday workers.

UPS' CEO made over $24M last year — over 436x her median worker's pay.

This is a reminder that states can step up and protect workers when Trump's federal government refuses to.

AOC: I want to remind you where the real crime is. It's in the oligarchs taking $170 billion of our money from health care and food assistance and public programs and taking that and funneling it into a secret police program.

Payrolls fell -105k in October and rose +64k in November. August and September payrolls were also revised down a total of 33k.

These data suggest VIRTUALLY NO EMPLOYMENT GROWTH since April ("Liberation day").

Unemployment is now up to 4.6%.

This is a tricky report, so stay tuned.

I spoke in Indiana days before the Republicans refused Trump’s gerrymandered map. Everyone I talked to said the Rs weren’t going to pass the map.

Know why?

He threatened them. Even Republicans are tired of that shit. You’re going to see more of it too. Mark it. The fever is breaking.
