The reason for my parallelism of Jonestown with the Cult of Trump is that
Jones was a pretend-protector turned-sadist, who tortured his own cult into loyal followers.
As Trump hurts veterans, farmers, tariffs... you will see that bringing harm to his own followers becomes a sadistic loyalty test.

I just watched this doc, A must see 100%
I was utterly blown away by the Oscar-nominated doc SUGARCANE. A deeply personal look into the lasting generational effects of the atrocities committed by the Catholic Church against Indigenous children in their boarding schools, this POWERFUL and IMPORTANT film is a must see!
