If the government has no control over bond yields and bond yields determine fiscal policy, then we should be demanding every day that they present us with a roadmap for getting out of that situation (and not a roadmap supplied by the markets or the treasury).

Median wage is £29,604. Real average wage unchanged since 2008.

I note with interest right-wing media's total absence of any concerns about prominent BBC presenter Armstrong expressing his highly political opinions. As was always perfectly clear to many of us, the problem was not that Lineker had views, but the fact they didn't approve of his views.

There is an alternative to Government welfare cuts - a 2% tax on wealth. There is no shortage of money here, we just need a fairer approach to tax - take more from the few not the many.
