It's funny seeing people argue that one of these games is too iterative to be on the list when literally the entire list is iterative as fuck. Like, no new ground was broken here. Just a bunch of great games that do what they already did very well.

Expedition 33 will probably win. It wasn't my favorite game this year but it deserves all the praise it gets.
