As ICE well knows, missing an immigration court date results in an automatic order of deportation which can be hard to reopen. So they have a pretty solid incentive built in up front to scare people into thinking it's not safe to go there. They've just never in the history of ICE done this before.

Immigration court has always been the one place I could tell people they could feel safe from ICE enforcement... until today.
I have one trusted report of FIFTY ICE officers swarming a CA immigration court. This hasn't hit media yet but advocates have been hearing reports from around the country.

this is an argument for banning both all plastic surgery and knee replacements
Kavanaugh obsessed over trans people "regretting" their decision to transition and that being a state interest.
Setting aside the fact that the rate of "regret" is very low, it's not the state's job to protect people from regret.

It made me physically ill following updates from the Supreme Court today. Sending love to trans people, trans kids especially, and their families because… whew. Enduring this kind of hostility is an experience us cisgender will never fully understand.
