She handed the sword over, and watched the knight’s hands fasten it to her belt. “You don’t need it yet, I still have a drink to finish before we go. Who knows how long it’ll take; all your talk about duty, mine is away until I leave and I plan to keep it away a while still.” “Be that as it may, I still have mine,” Maral answered. She moved the fix her clothes, hands reached for the clasps of her vest before Adela’s shot out and held her wrist in place. “Don’t,” she said, leant across the bar and looking up. “You do that, Quijada; go back to being Captain, and I have to go back to being unable to stand you.”
