We all have our tastes and preferences but 24-episode seasons are where you get to sit with your characters and KNOW them.
200hrs to tell your story is essentially every soap opera ever made and without those in syndication, we wouldnt have The Sopranos, Breaking Bad or season 1 of Heroes.

It's fine if that's all you need to tell a self-contained story. Some stories need 5 episodes, some need 12.
What I hate is 24 episode seasons. If you need more than 200 hours to tell your story, then you need to make some cuts and edits.

Id even argue you need BAD television. You need the people working on these things to grow and improve their craft so long as they're not hurting their staff or the craft.
To do so, you need time and space to make it happen. Streaming is actively killing our ability to imagine the possibilities.
