so worked out my costs for the german trip as below, note UK is cheap as first 75KWh was done at home so brought overall cost down, would have to include 15 quid for the cost of ionity & tesla memberships. Some assumptions though, especially on petrol cost where germany and france are higher than UK
Won’t tell the truth for much longer
OK this is amazing.
Trump’s Truth Social has its own AI search tool, which company debuted a month after Trump signed an exec order to end use of “Woke AI” in federal government.
Here's how it responds to questions about tariffs, who won 2020 election, Jan 6, etc:

do think it's a specific phenomenon though - when I interviewed a local GOP guy in South Carolina last year all he wanted to talk about was Tommy Robinson, and the New Jersey Republican woman I voxpopped last month was (racistly) obsessed with Sadiq Khan, it's all online rot I think
Can only conclude that the very online US commentators’ obsession with bashing the UK is the equivalent of a mental comforter to deflect from dealing with things closer to home.

Imagine the impact on the economy when these hard workers often in hot weather no longer there ? Fat slobs of maga won’t do that .. see Brexit
The people arresting these hardworking men have never known real “labor” like these innocents being detained. Just because you were born on one side of a border does not make you right. CBP/ICE are perpetrators of oppression, abuse, and crimes against humanity.

BBC was destroyed the day likes of Davie and others were appointed ... look at the putput now, a mere shadow of what it was
The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

strange how the tech curve never fails
Back in the 90s when 26 x 600kW (!) x 55m (tip) was a huge 15.6MW!

Originally iirc 14 x 6 x 200m (84MW) though its being reported as 79. But in any case a substantial increase.

Nearby is a proposed (Ofgem's LDES C&F ongoing) Vanadium Flow Battery 500MW (12hr) (2030)

(Edited for clarity)
Scotlands oldest commercial wind farm has been repowered with half the number of wind turbines and an output 5 times greater than the turbines they replace.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

The American people need more from their leaders.

There appears to be no ends to the number of gravy trains set up by the corrupt tory government. No wonder there is no money left.
The government has recovered £74m from excessive profits made by companies running asylum accommodation, the BBC can reveal.

The Home Office said it had recouped the money following a review of contracts after Labour came to power last year.

Government recovers £74m from asylum hotel firms
The amount recouped remains a small percentage of the overall cost of asylum accommodation.
