I'm long-term loyal to @birdtrack.bsky.social and think it's brilliant, but this is an interesting, encouraging read, highlighting how many young people are contributing to large, enlightening datasets and generally engaging with wild birds. At a UK level that's probably true for BirdTrack.

Fantastic and uplifting film. Well done to all involved and to the perseverance of the conservationists who really make a difference.
Fingers crossed we'll have these fantastic birds back here in South Wales soon if @natreswales.bsky.social grant a licence. Unfortunately, a painfully slow process!
It’s been a week since RETURN premiered.

Have you seen it? We’d love to hear your thoughts.

If not… now’s your chance. Don’t miss this truly breathtaking story of the White-tailed Eagle’s return. 🦅

Quiet bird wise at Cosmeston with 8 stock doves and pairs of stonechat and sparrowhawks the best. Nice to see good numbers of common blue and a couple of clouded yellow enjoying the fleabane.
