Two Jovian moons Io and Europa eclipses the sun darkening Jupiter's sky. Volcanic plumes and sulfur halo can be seen around Io and water ice jets are erupting from Europa's crust. Also Jupiter's rings, solar corona and zodiacal light also glows in this darkened sky #SciArt #spaceart #Jupiter

I just found out Spectrum of Storms was NOT selected for a local small works gallery exhibit. Boooooo

Well that’s too bad bc my art is awesome. I squished a storm that is larger than our planet onto an 8x10” canvas using telescope data across ultraviolet, visible, and infrared light.

* Fixed some minor technical issues.
* Better render quality.
* Brightened stars a little
* Lowest Eagle now passes behind foreground rock.
* Music added "Cloudless" by Cousin Silas.

One of my first space related childhood memories was watching the #Mars #Pathfinder mission deploy it's airbags and bounce around on Mars. Containing inside the lil Sojourner rover. So cool! 😭😎
