As for the horror at the beginning I thought it wasn't very scary, but by the end it had its moments, starting at the middle school it got creepy and did a great job building from there till the end.

There are a lot of games I really love but have no desire to replay, and I think that says something when there are some games I will replay without a second thought, regardless of whether they are super linear or not.

GT was a racing game, and was probably enjoyed by people who weren't your average gamers.
For a similar example my Dad NEVER played video games, he hated them, but sunk 100s if not 1000s of hours into Nascar '99 on N64, then never touched a game again.

I'm sharing pretty early but even for my relatively simple, retro style rendering it took a few months to get to anything that shows the purpose of the framework, before that I was just piecing it together quietly
