I live 30 minutes from the US border and used to hop across to shop, get cheap gas, vacation, etc.
No more: A simple search of my social media (which I can't believe they have a right to check without a warrant, but leave that aside) and best case I'd be bounced back home.

There seems to be no justification for how they determined any of these groups are foreign terrorist groups. And certainly no evidence that they have direct ties to any U.S. antifa groups. Just like with the rest of this antifa panic, they’re just randomly creating boogeymen.

I think the ostrich situation is best understood as: The Canadian cranks don't have Trudeau to fixate on, and nothing else at the federal level has gained traction, so they just need some kind of esoteric outrage that keeps the machine running.

I hope that progressives learn a valuable lesson from Mamdani's campaign and his win: People want better lives. People want their hard work and tax dollars to benefit their communities and families. And above all, people want something better than the corrupt, billionaire-serving status quo.
