I weigh the cats every Friday and Marcel was heavier than Francie for the first time tonight! And he still has a few months of growing to do. My tiny morsel is growing into a large dollop.

An Apparition. Slide from my collection, 1975.

This would have been a lovely composition on its own but accentuating the otherworldliness of the scene is a houseplant with long, seaweed-like leaves that undulate across the foreground, one of them arching up to frame the cat perfectly.
