To my new followers, this is what you’re in for…
I’m in for the Fight Club.
Wow — Senators Van Hollen, Smith, Murphy, Sanders, Warren, Markey, Merkley, Heinrich have created an official internal "Fight Club."

They're challenging Schumer & Gillibrand's leadership, arguing the party is using an old, corporate-friendly playbook insufficient to take on Trump or win elections.

Dems need to keep repeating it, and they need to say what mean. “You can refuse illegal orders,

examples of illegal orders are: intentionally harming or targeting civilians, engaging in unauthorized domestic LE actions, falsifying records, or anything else that clearly violates the US constitution”

Sound of Music season is here. The only good thing about this time of year.

Are you guys getting all those G@za pleas asking for money with pics of their family and starving kids? I don’t know what to do because I’m sure some people are real, but now, after my romp through twitter’s location stuff, I don’t believe anything anymore. (ICYMI, scroll back in my timeline)

If you’re still tweeting there and you’re here, please tell me why?

Why are you using the digital equivalent of driving a Cybertruck? I’m so curious, I think.

I get saving your handle in hopes it won’t be owned by a Nazi trillionaire someday, or fear a MAGA will take your name, I’m doing that.

I went to the bad place to see the location feature, and, damn. It’s amazing, if accurate. I wish that was mandatory in social everywhere. I learned a few things in my trip there. A random sampling of my followers were from Nigeria. But it sure doesn’t look like they’re clear about that, lol.

If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

This is who they are.
Why am I not surprised?

11 years ago today, 12 year old Tamir Rice was gunned down by police officers on Cleveland’s west side.

The officer shot him within seconds of arriving at the park he was playing in.

Tamir’s life mattered. It still does. My thoughts are with his family today.

Listen to this guy (who I somehow never came across in all my years on Twitter) address exactly what I’ve been trying to do unsuccessfully through shame tactics. These are facts, sans real shame. Imo, lots more effective.
Elon is rigging the Twitter algorithm to shove right wing fever dreams down your throat. If you're a prominent person who's still on Twitter, you're helping him cook people's brains just by being there. Don't take my word for it, he'll tell you himself. @takedowntwitterx.bsky.social #teslatakedown

Schumer needs to go! But, I will say I knew Tr&mp would like Mamdani. His charisma is impossible to ignore. And I’m sure he’ll spin it as coming to kiss his ring.
Trump praised Zohran Mamdani as good for NYC before Chuck Schumer did. Think about that.

I knew this would happen. The media are normalizing a violent, lawless, thug. It makes me sick to my stomach, @nytimes.com.
The New York Times' story about Trump calling for the execution of members of Congress ran on Page 16 today, with an itty-bitty promo on the front about halfway down the page.
No wonder Trump thinks he can get away with anything.

President Trump has called for Democrats to be executed for sedition. The voters expect Democrats to come to the table with a real counter-proposal and negotiate a mutually acceptable compromise. That’s doing politics the right way.
