The joke here is we're endlessly told that children are being forced into gender transition against their best interests. When a child is so determined that they find a way to access DIY, it becomes a lot harder to suggest they're being "forced".

An easy way to explain luddites:
Textile manufacturers brought in machines that could do in an hour what would have taken 12 hours by hand.
And then, tried to keep paying the now 12x more productive workers the same wages as before.
That's it, that was the problem luddites had. Not complex.

i've not watched charlie kirk die, but i've read that there are videos from multiple angles. i think it's worth reflecting on the fact that no one was expecting him to die, and that anyone filming at that moment was likely a fan. that they uploaded his death online speaks volumes about their psyche.

i love when filmmakers make films about filmmaking or filmmakers, and writers write books about writing or being a writer. they really heard "write what you know" and went "i'm not going to try and know anything more than what i already do before i start writing"

The UK is about to effectively ban trans people from public restrooms and other "single-sex spaces". Transphobes have advocated for this for the best part of the decade now, and its important to note that it does not hold up legally. It is completely incompatible with the existing law. But!
