But if we go down that route, one must also accept peace on Russian terms, Ukraine potentially falling completely under Russian influence, with those ramifications, risks and consequences that brings along for European security in the medium and long term.

I'm starting to lean in the direction that if European countries want to turn this ship around, prevent a peace on Russian terms, and secure a viable future for Ukraine, we will have to do something like this.

I will never forget the photo of Zelenskyy’s face after he saw Russia’s war crimes in Bucha in 2022. He seemed to age years in an afternoon. Watching him constantly cross the world asking for aid that should have been thrown at him is one of the deepest shames of our age.
