Very good by @rmcunliffe.bsky.social. This country's deternination to consume its own young is both disgusting and, i suspect, self defeating.

What a moment earlier today, hearing the leader of Democratic Belarus speak at the European Delegation to the UK.

I have Belarusian friends, so I followed the 2020 election that Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya won very closely.

What she’s doing now is inspirational, and I hope history being made.

The Renters' Rights Act may be the first law to improve my life
Labour should make more of a fuss of these long overdue reforms

I think RRB is somewhere that Labour’s interest *now* is forcing other parties to go on the record in opposition, in that right now, the bill is bad for current renters (because of the transition period it will create), and its value becomes the “Reform will ban your cat” in 2029.
I am vaguely curious about how Labour have got themselves into a position where one of their landmark pieces of legislation, the Renter's Rights Bill, is finally law, and they have very little interest in promoting it to the point everyone's still talking about Reform!

My MP has come off it, I’ve come off it, and we’re both all the healthier for it.
Politico: "MPs should consider deleting X, according to a committee led by Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle...

"On social media, the report said MPs should feel “empowered to step away from platforms that pose more harm than benefit.”

Absolutely. Please get on with it.

This is an *incredibly* good idea.
If I were running Labour comms I would commission an app called 'Will the Tories/Reform deport you?' then let the reactions on TikTok and Instagram do their work.

If your response to Jewish people being stabbed to death and mowed down by a car in Manchester is “Gaza” you’re a charlatan and an antisemite and you need to get in the fucking bin.

I’ve had enough. Jews have had enough.

And you’re no ally of the Palestinian people if you behave like this.

This is vile. I cannot see how anyone on the left at this time could think intimidating think tank workers and vandalising their workplace for having different politics is legit.

This isn’t liberal. This isn’t democratic. This is, simply, wrong and should be condemned as such.
On where UK Bluesky does have a blind spot, I haven’t seen anything on here about the vandalism of Policy Exchange’s office (see below). This kind of stuff should be called out and criticised and I’m very happy to do so.
