I just came home on the tube (the Friday night before Xmas) and I have my suspicions that one or two passengers may have been drinking.

Apparently Fulham’s second Badger mascot is not Billy’s girlfriend but his sister. I am expecting another twist in the story at Christmas when angry Billy shouts “You’re not my mother”, and tearful Bella replies “Yes I am!”

Don’t say Fulham haven’t made any signings. Billy the Badger has got a girlfriend.

It’s weird how the news sometimes isn’t news. “Farage the school racist” was in the public domain five years ago, but it just wasn’t getting any traction. (Tweets below from 2020) Sometimes a story just has to wait until its time has come…

That's sweet that Nigel has stayed in touch with his imaginary friends.
Nigel Farage says he won't release the names of his former school friends who have written to him to say he definitely wasn't a massive racist and anti-semite, because journalists will: "chase after them and make their life a misery"

New tax raising idea - anyone writing outraged articles in the Telegraph about the Mansion Tax or VAT on Schools will have to pay the 'Whingeing Tax'

Higher rate Whingeing Tax if you claim to represent ordinary people or say how hard your family had to work to have all this.

Actually I think you'll find that a 'septopus'.

Just home from an incredible game at Craven Cottage. Now at least Fulham know what they have to do to find their mojo. Just let in five goals first.

I’ve seen enough rom-coms to know that Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana get married in the end.

Tub of Nocellara olives just burst all over the contents of my Waitrose bag. Don’t tell me the middle classes are not suffering under Starmer.

Time for my annual moan that because we do not have Thanksgiving in the UK - BLACK FRIDAY IS NOT A THING HERE!

This beautiful hare disappeared for more than 20 years. Then in 2009, I presented a documentary on Radio 4 telling the fascinating story of the book and the race to find the hare and it finally resurfaced as a result.

At some level I still react to Budget Day with the thought “that’s annoying- all the kids TV will be over on BBC2.”

The suggestion that my co-writer and I kept eating Nando’s while we were writing the sequel is a monstrous libel and we will sue anyone who suggests it.
