Health care is at risk for over a million New Yorkers. We can't stop fighting to protect the lifesaving care so many Americans rely on.

The Senate may vote as soon as tomorrow to nominate EEOC Acting Chair Andrea Lucas for a 2nd term.

Throughout her time at EEOC, she’s pushed an anti-worker agenda & undermined protections for women in the workforce.

We oppose her nomination and will continue to fight for all women in the workforce
EEOC Acting Chair Andrea Lucas:
❌ Targeted law firms for using DEI programs
❌ Wants to gut the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act
❌ Voted against workplace harassment guidance
❌ Abandoned key civil rights cases protecting women

60 years ago, America's seniors got a much needed lifeline with Medicare.

Fast forward to today, and Republicans are actively trying to rob seniors of their Medicare in order to give tax cuts to billionaires.

It's a callous slap in the face to seniors everywhere.

It’s a patch job 🤕— but bleeding out isn’t better.

The Vaccine Integrity Project hopes to become obsolete with the eventual return of true evidence-based ACIP and CDC leadership.

We hope so too. 🙏

2/3 Luckily, several medical orgs are stepping up w/ independent, evidence-based vaccine guidelines.

✅ Which vaccines?
✅ For which groups?
✅ When?
✅ & why?

Much of the data is via the Vaccine Integrity Project—a volunteer effort reviewing 16,000+ studies on flu, COVID & RSV

Washington voters are gloomy.

Most respondents to a recent Cascade PBS/Elway poll said they were worried about the future, didn’t feel represented by their state government, and had low opinions of both Gov. Bob Ferguson and the Democratic-led Legislature. A thread 🧵

For only the second time in Cascade PBS/Elway poll history, respondents anticipate things will get worse for the country, the state and themselves.
