Trump just signed an executive order that says paper straws must be eliminated.. Everything must go back to plastic. Now, I have to say that paper straws are not my favorite by a longshot. However, using an executive order this way is, well, stupid.

NEW — I spoke to a staffer at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about DOJ's threat to pull funding if the org didn't comply with Trump's DEI executive order, and how org leadership rolled over.
