A lot of people who do bad things try to justify it to themselves by projecting their own vices onto everyone else, granting themselves either permission or forgiveness for doing something they consciously understand is wrong, otherwise they wouldn't be this defensive about it in the first place.

Pigeons, apricots, and thyme!
Because it's always thyme for pigeons! :) A repeating pattern of peaceful floating pigeons interspersed with clusters of apricots, small white flowers, and sprigs of thyme. It's primarily a dusty teal color.

My little buddy decided to pose for me today. I do wish he'd come a little bit closer, as I'm probably never going to nail focus on the black eyes of a black bird when shooting handheld with a not-quite-long-enough lens from across the street in the rain, but I'll take what I can get.
