In recent years a November arrival of Blue-grey Gnatcatchers has happened in Nova Scotia. This one was in Moose Harbour, Queens County today and, as is typical, travelling in the company of Black-capped Chickadees. #Birds #Birding #Birdwatching

LIFER!!! This weekend I lived out a longtime dream, of seeing a northern saw-whet owl and thus knocking the number 1 white whale from my life list – by attending two banding sessions in central Saskatchewan. I saw six owls, and got to hold two (one even pooped on me – blessed!) #birds #LiferPie
