Since 2015, it’s been a vital source of data on LGBQ youth. In 2023, it provided the first ever nationally representative sample of transgender teens.

The people whose safety is most likely to be immediately impacted by Trump's order are trans women in federal custody—the order instructs the federal Bureau of Prisons to move them to men's facilities. No reason to think BOP would delay that. (Also: please reach out if you have a tip on this.)
