Kinda funny/sad that windows 10 forces you to set up three security questions for an offline account. The list of questions is pre-determined, there's like 6 total, and two of them are "city you were born in" and "city your parents met in" as if those aren't extremely likely to have the same answer

An example is the Nvidia shield I have. At the top of the dashboard is a carousel of ads that are focused by default when you turn it on. I paid (kind of a lot) for this device. No reason for these ads to be here other than avarice

I think we need to reframe things and refer to any software that intentionally negatively affects user experience to further some ulterior motive as "malicious software"

But I thought abstraction was ivory tower bullshit, and that's why go (simple language for real industry applications) didn't have generics?
Go's json package, conceptually, has better design. It is a product of a design choice that values simplicity and high abstraction.
