Booking flights is one long lesson in www.deceptive.design.

A special shout out to lastminute.com for their "Full Flex" pop-up after pressing book that adds ~30% of the price of the ticket and then tries to process the payment immediately.

Only reason it didn't work was because of 2FA on my card.

At first the Discord hack didn’t seem that bad because it was initially the third party help desk.

But then you find out they had got there age verification data. Come to find out they got 1.5 TB of government id and age verification data. This is going to become a case against age verification.

Didn't realize just how many archery clubs there are around, or how easy it is to get started.

Charles Darwin, in his book "On the Origin of Species", used Lord Sebright as an example of a breeder who was very skilled at changing characteristics in a race.
Incidentally, I learned just last month that there's a breed of chicken named after Sebright, which he bred into existence himself.

Alt text is descriptive text that conveys the meaning of an image. It's designed to make visual content accessible to people with vision disabilities. When a person uses assistive technology such as a screen reader, the screen reader will read the onscreen text aloud 1/7
