A part of me thinks it’s bc of the attention the Alien Enemies Act expulsions got. Extensive media reporting & public outrage over the admin’s lawless denials of due process.

There hasn’t been the same kind of coverage or focus on 3rd country removals - even tho they’re no less appalling or lawless
I am struggling to square today's order with the Supreme Court's ruling that migrants targeted for removal to El Salvador under the Alien Enemies Act must be afforded meaningful due process. Why shouldn't these migrants, who face banishment to countries they've never stepped foot in, get the same?

You've failed yourself and the world America.

Frost: I still hold the supreme court is very much skewed to the right… But the fact the court is so skewed to the right even then they are still saying in a unanimous decision that he needs to be brought home shows that should not be a partisan issue

Since the Trump admin continues to claim Mr. Abrego Garcia is a gang member, I thought I'd take the time to put together a timeline, based on all the documents filed in court, which lays out all the "evidence" the government has ever offered.

As you'll find out, there's very little "there" there!

Concentration camps: Famously easy places to find legal representation for habeas relief.
Picking up on this point, Justice Sotomayor writes in dissent:

"To the extent the Government removes even one individual without affording him notice and a meaningful opportunity to file and pursue habeas relief, it does so in direct contravention of an edict by the United States Supreme Court. "

It will never be enough. The goal is to break the University, not have them meet demands.

Taunting Columbia with the hope of compliance just sweetens the pot with humiliation.
In the NYT right now, from a Justice Dept lawyer: “I will tell you right now that Columbia has not in my opinion — and the opinion of the Department of Justice — has not cleaned up their act,” Mr. Terrell said. “They’re not even close, not even close to having those funds unfrozen.”
