Focusing on AHRD - Archaeology Human Remains Detection, sometimes called HHRD (Historic) and often an outgrowth of SAR-HRD - we work with scientists, cultural resource managers, land managers to research, sense (we see a bio-sensor) and report - share history. It’s amazing. We love it.

To be clear, I subscribe to many Substack publications. Right now, it is an amazing resource for people starting out. However, I would like to see those that reach scale move off and onto something more billionaire proof.

Yes, Substack turned down Musk once. But as the article points out, it has investors (including Andreessen Horowitz) looking for a return and it is currently losing money. At some point, I suspect for a company like this, money talks.

If Musk can buy Twitter and potentially buy TikTok, he or another billionaire can buy Substack. That is why Democracy Docket is built on its own platform that it owns.

Why is it that Hegseth talks over women, long after the point where it's even arguably acceptable, and argues with them like he's asking the questions, not the other way around? He can say whatever he wants, but it's clear he doesn't respect women or even the offices they hold.

The Hegseth hearing is doing one thing incredibly well: it’s establishing that when his leadership at DoD fails, it’ll be clear that GOP Senators knew, excused it, and they own it. Serious concerns about experience & judgment are literally being laughed off.
