Today I stood with @rmtunion.bsky.social members outside Parliament to oppose the Government’s cruel Skilled Visa changes.

I've spoken with TfL workers facing deportation in weeks, this is a disgrace!

This is what Green politics is all about.

So so proud of my colleague Caroline who brought together Londoners today from all over our city to talk about people who have been injured and lost their lives.

People with lived experience, policy experts and bus drivers.

Read the full report below. 👇🏼
Feeling overwhelmed by the intensity of the engagement with my report launch today sharing ideas for TfL’s Vision Zero Action Plan 2. Bereaved families, campaigners, transport professionals, bus drivers thinking about why Vision Zero matters and how to make it real.

The suppression of dissent is chilling and I’m proud to stand up for the right to protest at pro-Palestine marches ✊

Trade unions calling for all charges to be dropped against protesters are showing true bravery and a moral compass this Government sorely lacks.

While the UK continues to sell F-35 fighter jet parts to Israel, it punishes and represses those speaking out against this genocide.

🚌 Went on the new bike bus shuttle through Silvertown Road Tunnel this morning.

Surely there are better ways to get across the river 🤷‍♀️

The bus is better than nothing but lots more can be done to improve this service.

Have you been on the bus? What did you think ⁉️

Morning all! ☀️

Got my bike 🚲 and ready to try the Silvertown Road Tunnel bike bus shuttle.

Let’s hope I don’t end up waiting 12 minutes outside the bus stop just to get my bike on.

Wouldn’t this be a whole lot easier with a dedicated tunnel (or bridge) for walking, wheeling and cycling? 🙄

Beyond shocking. The Conservatives’ appalling protest-silencing laws must go!

Paul Parker for the Quakers: “No-one has been arrested in a Quaker meeting house in living memory. This aggressive violation of our place of worship… clearly shows what happens when a society criminalises protest.”
🚨 Outrage as 20 police officers break into Westminster Quaker Meeting House and arrest six. 🚨
This shocking violation of a place of worship is a direct result of crackdowns on protest and dissent - freedom of speech, assembly and democracy are at risk.🕊️

The Met claims facial recognition has been a success, but millions of faces scanned for a handful of arrests doesn’t seem like success to me 🤔

It's subjecting us all to constant surveillance.

This was the truly shameful moment when an 87-year-old Holocaust survivor was dragged in for interrogation by the Met police because he attended an anti-genocide rally.

Genuinely, what have we become?

There are currently 133 estates in London up for demolition.

At People’s Question Time we heard from an east London resident who has been in temporary accommodation for over a year due to estate regeneration.

It's clear, residents must be at the heart of regeneration, not developers.
