When I've had mortgages, I've done everything possible to pay them off early, starting with as simple a concept as paying an extra $25, $50, or $100 a month - my extra money gave me a guaranteed return equal to the interest rate on the mortgage. This idea would help some people buy homes, but...!

I don't have time to read the article, but I'm 72 and have voted by mail/dropbox since around age 18. I like taking my time to go through the voters' pamphlet and maybe research things online. And I lived on a remote rural island for 20+ years, and dropping my ballot in the mail was easiest.
