The Washington Post editorial board decided the Epstein files have “no public interest” before even seeing them. That’s a stunning position for any newsroom to take. Praising Clay Higgins as the lone ‘no’ vote, too? No wonder no one trusts legacy media. Absolutely disgusting.

finally found a good devsecops metaphor:

authentication is when cat sniffs your hand to make sure it’s you

authorization is whether the cat lets you touch their belly

There have been a lot of disgusting and surreal moments in the Oval Office over the last 10 months that disgrace the United States, but Trump publicly dismissing the brutal assassination of a Washington Post journalist as insignificant and blowing smoke up the ass of a despotic butcher is up there

For any MAGA that is attempting to twist, justify or use projection as an argument for Trump’s involvement with Epstein, I am going to assume that you need your hard drive looked at as well

Also in 1860(ish), the Comstock Act made selling birth control info and abortifacients by mail illegal, and the AMA was created to push out midwives who understood female anatomy and childbearing so male “doctors” could take over lucrative maternity “care”.

The value of reading history is you know that in 1860 there were abolitionists who were so demoralized that they thought chattel slavery would be permanent. 5 years later those still alive had lived to see its end.

60% of Walmart EMPLOYEES are on SNAP.

Maybe the problem isn't the workers, but the exploitative system.

~70% of women with pcos are undiagnosed, and at its current numbers affects an estimated 1 in 8 women worldwide. it has also jumped 28.21% in age-standardized prevalence between 1990 and 2021 & we aren’t quite sure why. surprised pcos is not referred to as an epidemic more frequently.
