In my experience, CPTSD survivors rarely "complain." When a survivor puts words to our experience, it's most often an attempt to understand it-- but that can make others feel awkward (or guilty), so we get told to keep our "complaints" to ourselves.

It's such bullsh*t.

Just because someone has known you a long time or happens to share your name or DNA, doesn't mean they understand what motivates you, moves you, or what you need.

Though they might very well understand precisely what buttons to push to trigger, manipulate, or demoralize you.

It is possible to abhor the act of murder, and also not to feel the slightest twinge of sympathy for a man whose message was that we have to accept an amount of gun violence and death to protect a mis-interpreted 2nd amendment.

Doing our best to be consistently cool & kind to ourselves in what we say & what we do, especially in little ways & private moments, will realistically build & stabilize our recovery & life way more than rushing or exhausting ourselves trying to make profound "progress."

You were not abused or neglected because of anything about you-- & you're not experiencing symptoms because you're "weak," "stupid," or any other name Trauma Brain is trying to call you

Vulnerability is not your fault or flaw-- & recovery is not about "fixing" you as a person.

Is it possible someone used LLM AI write the report and it includes hallucinated papers that did not exist?

Tax cuts paid for by scrapping Net Zero, the EU deal and DEI and deporting asylum seekers to god knows where at no apparent cost.

US military museums, often pet projects of the ultra-wealthy, purport to provide accurate depictions of war. But even the most clear-eyed exhibits are problematic, even deadly.
