I've heard some say that bringing the X-Men into the MCU won't work because it's a universe where being a superhero is pretty normal, so why would people hate mutants?

Sometimes, I have to remind myself of the fucked up things that I used to normalize just because I wasn't accustomed to people acting any better. If you can't imagine finding fucked up behavior normal, I am happy for you, but social conditioning is real.

Is there any flavor of brain rot more powerfully corrosive than transphobia? Because it really does seem that once that particular bigotry takes root in a person, it replaces literally every part of their personality and faculties. Genuine fucking zombie mind virus.
