Reviewing them. Informing people. Educating them on proper fact checking, on critical thinking. It won't be a perfect solution- but none is. The solution to bad knowledge is always better knowledge.

I think they're being genuine, and supporting renewable energy, just using the language of its opposers.
They're saying that opposers are right about one thing: it IS disruptive, just not to the people you think. It's disruptive to big corps and their business models.

And his face cleared, and he leaned in with a grin and told me about a German guitarist who he traveled with, twice. Who transitioned between the first and second time, so he'd gotten to meet this person all over again on the second round. It was a wonderfully kind way to let me know that everything was fine. I was fresh out of the closet and I needed that, and maybe he could see it. Honestly. I'm so thankful they exist to set an example for everyone else. And even when you look into any stuff that has happened in the past (best if you don't, seeking out drama is bad), they handle it with extreme maturity and mutual respect for both the audience and each other. They're great.

And for that matter: It is just the latest craze of this "virus" that is bigotry. Anyone who looks at history can tell that.
