We join Veterans For Peace to call on all veterans and allies to reclaim #ArmisticeDay as a day of truth and resistance.
We honor those who perished in wars, the living who suffer the brutality of empire at home and abroad, and those service members who question unlawful orders.

Perhaps Trump hasn’t permanently halted America’s slow march towards a true multi-ethnic democracy

This morning, after a restart of my Mac mini, all of the apps on the Dock decided to launch themselves after I logged in, even though the box to reopen apps was unselected. In any case, all of the apps had been shut down prior to restart.

I think the 'King Trump defecates on America from his jet' video should be played and replayed at every opportunity, and in one Dem ad after another.
I know MAGAcore thinks it's funny, but I think most other people are still, even at this late date, shocked by its crudity. It cuts through the noise

Astonishing advance by the Greens, astonishing implosion of Labour. When will Starmer's government get the message that it is destroying its base with deeply unpopular, rightwing policies?

By chasing Reform, it legitimises the far right while delegitimising itself.
Latest poll puts Greens just two points behind Labour. When I said we weren't here to be disappointed in Labour but to replace them, I meant it.

Join us and let's make hope normal again.

Greta Thunberg, deported to Greece, says the targeting of the Sumud Flotilla is "not the story" @teenvogue.com — instead, she says:

"Israel once again violated international humanitarian law by preventing aid from getting into Gaza while people are being starved.”
Greta Thunberg On Her Detention: I'm "Not The Story" — It's Israel Violating International Humanitarian Law
“I could talk for a very, very long time about our mistreatment and abuses in our imprisonment. Trust me. But that is not the story.”

Israel is piling crime on top of crime on top of crime.

No wonder it is determined to bring down the entire edifice of international humanitarian law - it's the only hope of protecting itself from consequences.

Btw: the allegations are significantly worse than bedbugs.

It's not fascist to call fascists fascist.

It's not "dehumanizing" to say that terrorizing entire groups of people - which ICE does - is evil.

No executive order can change these facts.

However, people *can* mess things up for fascists by standing up for community and truth. Like this.
"No hate, no fear! Immigrants are welcome here!"

Absolutely massive crowd at the New Yorkers Against ICE march. Blocks long!

#RIP Danny Thompson – bassist for Pentangle, the best (maybe only) jazz-folk fusion band and collaborator with Richard Thompson (no relation*) among many contributions to music over the years.

*RT fans will understand the reference.

From Kate Bush to Pentangle to T-Rex, the late Danny Thompson’s musical brilliance knew no bounds
The bassist, who has died aged 86, was an extraordinary and wildly versatile presence in British music, bringing his personality into everything he played

Apparently, it’s socially unacceptable to compare anyone or anything to Hitler.
Mention Hitler, and you’ll be shouted down with a chorus of “Godwin’s Law”.
Well sod that.
Until we start comparing Trump to Hitler, we’re unprepared for what is barrelling towards us. 🧵1/4
