Despite designing 85% of Pulitzer's line, Zuzek was never credited.

I forget where I saw this sentiment but I read some quote somewhere that said “your first thought is what you’re conditioned to think, but your second thought is your real thought.” This has REALLY helped me out on a number of levels lately.

Idk man, that Tiny Chef cancellation video really got me. This is what it feels like to be a creative in 2025 - it doesn’t matter how many accolades you get, you’re still disposable. Worse yet, people are gleeful to see your hard work replaced by AI slop.

Seeing the Bill Watterson originals full of pencil lines of stuff that didn’t work, scuffs the eraser didn’t pick up, white out galore and more was something I needed to see to remind myself that nothing is perfect the first go and tweaks need to be made and you’re allowed to try again.

Bringing discourse over from that other site but I want people to know that my visdev friends with industry experience make around $50-100 an hour freelancing. Know your worth and ask for it. Art is a highly specialized skill.
