Irish breakfast tea is so much nicer than English breakfast tea. Tastes like malted milk biscuits. Lovely!

I have never come back from any holiday feeling relaxed, refreshed & reinvigorated to get back into work.

I come back with the taste of freedom, still fresh in my mouth, a renewed hatred for work, and a strong suspicion that this is not what I should be spending my life doing.

Luvvies wish it'd stop involving the demographic aspect because of their fears of a "racist backlash", and on cue, posts about it draw out the worst racists, and both sides point to each other as proving their point. Punch and Judy show, meanwhile, the victims get no justice.

"Either Gabbard was catastrophically uninformed about the most basic elements of the theater of war she was visiting, or she was consciously spreading disinformation. Those are the two possibilities. The first is disqualifying; the second is worse." Αυτά

Scientists have already investigated this. The result? The doctor pushing this junk science had his license revoked for spreading deadly lies about vaccines.

Mis/disinfo is suddenly going through the roof.. just search "kurds" in latest.. it's sickening how the tankies and anti-west conspiracyverse are trying to incept a disaster. The BBC News chyron claims "the rebels" have announced they're attacking the Kurds now.. which ones?

So, where will the Russian navy fleeing Syria head to, I wonder? Turkey won't let them through the Bosphorus for sure. Libya would be a terrible look, like Tarturus from Temu, so where? Would they even be seaworthy enough to reach Venezuela, or Cuba?

Tulsi Gabbard’s history with Russia is even more concerning than you think
One expert says her views are ‘so wildly fringe that her potential appointment as DNI is genuinely alarming’, Richard Hall and Andrew Feinberg write

Can someone get a message to Joe Biden? Tell him it would be awesome if he would step down before he’s finished, let Kamala finish the term, and thereby make all of that orange fucks 47 merch useless?? 🤣🤣🤣

When I was a child, I learned that the Constitution didn’t apply to people like us. I said the Pledge of Allegiance from inside a barbed wire camp, the words “with liberty and justice for all” wholly meaningless.

But I did not give up on America. I’ve spent my life fighting for its ideals.
When we were children, we were taught that no matter how you reached, no matter much wealth and power you accumulated, you were not above the law.

We can no longer teach our children that.

And that's really fucking tragic.

The Founding Fathers couldn't have been clearer; the USA is NOT a Christian country, and the Constitution establishes the freedom to believe any religion, or none at all. The Christian nationalism being imposed by Trump and his cronies is fundamentally ANTI-American www.msn.com/en-gb/news/u...

Especially annoying to hear in Greece is the narrative that Russia's only taking back what's theirs, as "Ukraine used to be Russia", which is so incredibly backwards it's almost pointless arguing with them, much the same as trying to engage with MAGA types, or flat Earthers.

Some interesting notes surfacing recently around me, not that I'm in touch as much generally, but worth sharing I thought, about the ridiculous empty nuclear blackmail rhetoric. Unsurprisingly, the most vociferous voices on this "fear" are those who want more than anything a total victory for Putin.

If I won the lottery, I'd get a cosy house in Wolverhampton, maybe around Compton where I met the Mrs, take extra degrees at the uni for the joy of learning. That's if there's enough left to put aside for my daughter's future of course, and regular trips back between Wales and Wolves and Greece.

Is there no edit option for tweets on Bluesky, either? Hope I'm just not looking in the right place and it's not a "feature" carried over, of all things, from Twitter or Xshitter or whatever Eloi Mince is calling it nowadays.

So, Storm Shadow finally allowed to do what it's for.. and unlike the gaudy bollocks that comes with anything from the US admin so far: "A spokesperson for Prime Minister Keir Starmer said his office would not be commenting for operational reasons".. that's how you do it, don't telegraph your moves.

I couldn't sleep the other day so decided to set about the over 7,000 (and I think that was just the unread) emails that have piled in my accounts. Finally, I saw a cute graphic saying to enjoy my empty inbox. It's trivial I know, but I feel like a small win nonetheless.
