I guess my most woke opinion is that the concept of "earning your living" is outdated to the point of being inhumane. The way technological progress is going, we will either accept that we should provide decent living for everyone for the good of all society, or continually descend into nightmare.

More of things like this.
"The market would be a partnership between the city and Sound Transit. Lynnwood would be able to use the light rail station at no charge — aside from a $5,000 refundable security deposit — in exchange for listing Sound Transit as a sponsor of the market."

He can’t survive this with a 29% approval rating.

He just can’t.

It’s going to get very bad as he tries, but there isn’t enough good news for anyone other than billionaires to make him or his supporters viable.

Now, he might take the world down with him - literally - but he can’t survive this.

I really really wish people would read the actual MLS schedule plan before they post dire rants about how they’ll never buy tickets again.

It’s a net gain of like 2-3 winter games.

Take a breath.

I mean this sincerely…

What?
Trump: "Christians and more, think of this, more than twice as likely foster care they'll adopt the general population. They adopt to it so easily. When they get out, they adopt to it like it's become second nature. It's amazing."

The President of the United States raped children. Everyone in the media knew about it. Everyone in DC knew about it. Putin knew about it. MI-6 knew about it.

Now everyone except Fox News addicts knows it too.

Call me partisan, but don’t I think child rapists should be President.

Between the completely horrible socio-political landscape and FIFA's deep greed and corruption, the 2026 World Cup has already been more or less ruined.

This is going to be the House version of take a penny leave a penny. When Grijalva is sworn in, a GOP house member has to withdraw their support for releasing the pedo-files.
Mike Johnson will finally swear in his worst nightmare this afternoon... the congresswoman-elect who has pledged to provide the final signature needed on the discharge petition to force the DOJ to release the rest of the Epstein files.

Here's what to know for @motherjones.com:
Mike Johnson Will Finally Swear In His Worst Nightmare
Adelita Grijalva will be the 218th vote to release the Epstein files.

Look, Donald Trump may have had a lengthy, well documented friendship with America’s most famous pedophile, and he may have spent decades giving quotes like “if there’s one thing I love, its beautiful girls—young ones, too,” but I just need 4-5 more drops of damning evidence to buy these accusations

Please remember that DC is a machine with a lot of coordinated moving parts. Nothing happens outside the machinery of it all.

Ending the shutdown was orchestrated to get to this moment.

They had this release queued up. Once Johnson agreed to swear Grijalva in, they hit “send.”
House Oversight Dems releasing these Epstein emails on the day Adelita Grijalva gets sworn in and becomes the 218th discharge petition vote is some next-level political warfare.

Not only does it supercharge the story, it also boxes in wishy-washy House Rs.

The number of people in a position to blackmail the president of the United States is a little bit concerning. But what do I know…
It’s the fact that this email lays the whole schtick out for everything Trump does so plainly — “He’ll say Jeffrey is a great guy, and has gotten a raw deal and is a victim of political correctness (insert woke ideology or other cultural lighting rod here) which is to be outlawed in a Trump regime”
Oh there’s more:

If Boebert goes to the White House today and then flips her vote on the Epstein dossier, there is no way to spin it that doesn’t just reek of corruption and a coverup.

It’s already that. But an “emergency” meeting at the White House is pretty transparent.

The older I get the harder it is for me to track football years. Zimmerman is 32 but it feels like he’s been in soccer for 40 years.

It’s pretty clear that the depth and breadth of the Epstein pedophile ring will topple governments, Wall Street, and probably Ivy League academia.

They will do anything to keep the full truth from coming out.

Imagine the worst version of it you can. It’s worse. They’ll fight WW3 to hide it.

Patriotism is a really dumb concept for people simply born within certain borders.

You did nothing. Your mom happened to be here when she birthed you. All you did was not leave.

Communicating why a 50 year mortgage costs more, overall, than a 30 year mortgage should not be a hard task.

The problem is the average American is both functionally illiterate and innumerate, as a deliberate result of decades of the policies made by the very people pushing for 50 year mortgages.

The Canvas LMS quietly added an AI feature in the gradebook that captures professors' comments and saves them, and in turn offers to autofill later comments with that same content.

So if I advise one student to strengthen a thesis, it will automatically suggest I say the same thing to another. No.
