So I'm back, just here, for the moment. To see if I can find new ways to incorporate this into my life without it taking over or feeling risky.

But I also came to feel a bit isolated. And I'd think of things constantly that I wanted to share...

I came to love the quiet. The removal of distractions. The lower anxiety.

And I my job requires me to refrain from taking any partisan stance in any public way, which made social media feel like a mine field of potential screw ups.

I have ADHD and social media use becomes terribly compulsive for me, chasing dopamine.

I have been thinking about this more and am wondering if this is supposed to be analogous to the preference for the reporter vs a slip opinion?

The position was posted for a long time. I don't remember where/how I first saw the posting, but applied months later when I saw it again in a Google search for law library roles in New York.

I bought one in Spain, Rolser is the brand (sp?). It's super clever with front swivel wheels like a stroller and it folds up small. A wonderful investment!

I took my kid through Times Square station just so we could see the Nick Cave mosaics. I love his work and seeing how the mosaic artists had managed to capture it in glass and tile and buttons was great, like how a really awesome cover of a song reinterprets instead of reproducing

Also, so cool that we can already buy these and just install in your window and plug into your household 115volt outlet. This is a game changer!
