As a wrestling fan all my life and as someone who has heard it referenced many times on @btsheetspod.bsky.social it was awesome to finally attend a wrestling show at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum. Such a cool place and what a great show it was.

Agree with this 100% and I also felt the same way when UT had the penalty on 3rd down on the opening drive. Vibe changed immediately after.
it's rare to spot a mistake four minutes into a game and say with 60% certainty "well they're not gonna win now" but i think we just got one with that SMU fourth down

Sparta (which we realized later was the non-Mars Volta portion of At The Drive-In) and Dashboard Confessional opened for Weezer in July 2002. The Strokes were supposed to play but I think someone got hurt.
Unpopular opinion: People listing the first band they saw in concert should name the opening act for the first band they saw in concert, assuming they arrived on time for that.
