In May this year, Peter Hendy pressured my now-former employer Systra to sack me by threatening them.

Why did he do this? Because I'd highlighted safety and accessibility issues at Euston station. He is unfit for office and should resign.

Have you ever applied for a job, got it, and then found out that the Ts and Cs were actually far worse than you’d been told during the interview? You, me, and Keir Starmer.

The awful truth of the matter is that if Trump suddenly disappeared from the political landscape, we’d be forced to confront the fact that US politics is firmly in bed with Zionism. POTUS could stop the slaughter in Gaza with one phone call, but he chooses not to.

It’s a tomato soup and bread roll for lunch sort of day, isn’t it?

It’s a sad reflection on priorities to note that any news story concerning a boat full of migrants sinking gets “flash in the pan” media coverage, whilst a luxury yacht full of rich people sinking gets its own section on the BBC news app.

Ha!
A small story for you, Bluesky, in my occasional series of Things that Happen in London.

So my daughter (just turned 17) and two friends were on a late train the other night. Also present: an exceedingly drunk lady returning from Taylor Swift, snoozing in the opposite seat. /1

Had the courts merely dished out a few slaps on the wrists for being a bit naughty, then I’m sure we’d still be getting reports of riots on an almost daily basis. It’s been nipped in the bud by robust action from the courts - plus a lot of good people turning out to say “not in my name”.
So…the Conservative Party, the traditional party of law & order are very upset that the courts are coming down hard on people who break the law & cause disorder under a Labour government.

Apparently you have to pick a side, pick a flag, pick an ideology, pick a religion.

Well I pick humanity and fuck your sides and fuck your flag and fuck your ideology and fuck your religion and double fuck each and everyone of you who thinks a single human death is justified.

Here's another Tory lie to add to the list: HS2 Euston was promised only yesterday, but today it's only going to happen if someone else pays for it. This zombie government should call a GE now...but of course, they won't...they'll want to stay on to the bitter end and milk it for all it's worth.

It's chilling to think that someone as awful as this can rise to a position of high power in a supposedly civilized nation.

Is this *because* of the electorate, or *despite* the electorate? If the former, then we're stuffed.

Rugby folks...how do we improve things for nations such as Namibia so that they don't end up getting stuffed every time they play at the WC?

World Rugby don't seem to be interested in investing in these teams and making it possible for them to play against first class opposition regularly.

Inflation falls, and the City is "shaken", and the pound falls.

That seems to mean that something that's good for most of us is bad for those who shuffle piles of other people's money around for a living.

Could it be that naked capitalism doesn't have the majority's interests at heart?
