Trump has blatantly lied and said, he doesn't want a Russian hold on the US doorstep. Yet Russia is 55 miles away from the US in Alaska. Greenland is nearly 2000 miles from the US at the closest point. Why are our media and politicians, pretending not to understand what this is about?

Took part in a telephone poll by @ipsosintheuk.bsky.social in the UK y'day. Voting intention was one of the questions. However, whilst the 3 trad parties + Reform were options, @greenparty.org.uk weren't even an option, and had to be put under 'others' and typed. @zackpolanski.bsky.social

The UK has the highest energy costs in world, this is despite being completely self sufficient.
In the 1970's we had the lowest Energy costs in Europe.
But that was before all of our Oil and Gas was sold to Margaret Thatcher's mates for a pittance.
