Great read.
This Yglesias piece in the NYT is horrifically bad. Almost every "fact" it cites is provably false. At best it is cocktail party banter from a pundit who knows nothing of energy. At worst, it was cut/paste from oil industry talking points. So, a rebuttal: www.nytimes.com/2025/12/18/o...

It’s official: I’m running for Congress to represent San Francisco!

I’ll fight for our city – against Trump’s takeover, for our values, & for real progress. I’ve delivered on housing, healthcare, clean energy, & civil rights – & I’ll do it again.

Let’s build the future our city & country deserve.

Murdering people for their political opinions is just as bad as murdering people for their religious opinions.
That's why its so offensive to bring up Israel in response to the murders in Manchester. Where you draw the line between antisemitism and anti-Zionism doesn't really matter.

Our institutions are not made for this moment, and those in establishment - from the media to business to politics - aren't built for this fight.

If you're counting on them to lead us, then we are already doomed.

The leaders will emerge from the ground and the grassroots.

The sooner we accept the Democrats aren’t coming to save us, the better.
🧵 There are a lot of misleading claims out there about the SAVE Act. Let me set the record straight: I voted for the SAVE Act for the simple reason that American elections are for Americans. Requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote is common sense.

Maybe he could ask DOE to hold off on Special Ed cuts until he’s got it all figured out.
Kennedy says HHS "launched a massive testing and research effort," involving "hundreds of scientists from around the world."

"By September, we will know what has caused the autism epidemic, and we'll be we'll be able to eliminate those exposures."

Science isn't known for this kind of certainty.
