Every time I wake up late for something I try to look as presentable as possible so nobody can tell, then I tell everyone anyway so they can admire how presentable I look for having woke up so late

It's International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia - and just 3 days ago it was revealed that the UK is now one of the more difficult places in Europe to live as an LGBTQIA+ person. A sobering reminder that our rights can never be taken for granted. #IDAHOBIT2025

Just in case you missed this over Easter. Our students have been researching Roman chicken bones from @romanpalace.bsky.social to find that they were eggs-ellent layers!

Shortly before laying an egg, female birds grow a layer of bone in their skeletons, called medullary bone.
About 65% of bones at the Palace have medullary, so we're pretty sure Chickens were being kept at Fishbourne for egg production.

I love saying 'there's a joke in there somewhere' because it gets a laugh without having to actually come up with a joke, just imply something and your audience can do the work for themselves
