I have been working on my first fleece to yarn project! Here's a before and after, from dirty raw fleece to the first finished skein of yarn (well, almost)!

A few weeks ago I dyed some of my handspun yarn with onion skins - the colours turned out amazing. Here's what they look like made up into tablet woven bands!

Blue tussah silk I just finished spinning - this will eventually be used to recreate a tablet woven band from Oseberg in its original colours and materials.

For someone who supposedly doesn't shut up about textiles I sure haven't posted any of my work on here at all. So here are the tablet woven bands I've made in the past couple of weeks
